Anne Hathaway is a true-blue New York Knicks fan. The actress broke into an emphatic celebration after her team eliminated the Boston Celtics in the 2025 NBA Playoffs held on May 16. Although Anne could not be physically present at Madison Square Garden, New York City, she supported her team virtually. The Devil Wears Prada actress shared a video on Instagram where she was seen cheering enthusiastically for the Kicks. The clip also featured some iconic highlights of the gritty match, where Knock scored 119 and the Celtics scored 81. And guess what? Knicks’ player OG Anunoby reposted the video on his Instagram Stories.

The video captured Anne Hathaway sporting a radiant smile and throwing her hands in the air, celebrating the win. She looked vibrant in a Knicks-customised pale yellow jacket adorned with bright shades of blue and orange. Stylish, uber-cool sunglasses and open hair sealed her spunky avatar. The actress lip-synced to the song Go, New York, Go by singer-rapper Jesse Itzler, which was added to the background, underlining her unbridled joy. The clip was replete with winning sneak peeks of the New York Knicks. “Brilliant! LEETTSSSGOOOOOO!” read her side note.
