Luke Bryan started his 2025 tour with a bang by bringing a surprise guest on stage with him — and you won’t believe who it was. The county music star and “American Idol” judge was truly “Livin’ On a Prayer” when he introduced David Bryan, one of the founding members of Bon Jovi. One fan posted a video of the two artists performing together with the excited crowd at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey singing along.
The pair sang Bon Jovi’s smash hit to close out the show, and the camaraderie between them made the performance even more fun. David, a keyboardist who also co-wrote many of the band’s well-known songs, later posted a photo carousel from the concert. He captioned it: “Had a blast with my brother Luke Bryan at PNC last night!”
Many Fans Loved the Surprise Performance

Many fans in the video’s comments section enjoyed the brief cameo from David. One wrote: “The place went wild, especially me,” while another shared that the moment was “great” in person. Interestingly, as one fan pointed out, this actually isn’t the first time Dave and Luke have taken the stage together. “He does it every year he is at PNC,” the fan commented. “It’s a tradition!”
Dave’s carousel post from the performance also garnered plenty of fan praise on Instagram. “You were awesome!” one fan commented. “Loved seeing you.” Many others posted similar positive comments, and the post quickly gained over 3500 likes. The carousel includes a clip of Luke introducing Bryan, and the audience immediately erupts with applause for the 80s legend.
Luke Has a Packed Tour Schedule This Summer

Singing alongside a member of Bon Jovi is an exciting way to kick off a tour, but Luke has plenty of other performances ahead of him this summer. Luckily for fans, there will be plenty of opportunities to see Luke belt out his hits all season. The “Country Song Came On” tour will take him across the country between June and September, and also includes a handful of stops in Canada.
As of this publication, the end of the road for Luke’s summer tour is in Mississippi. According to his official website, he’ll finish off his tour with an appearance at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on September 6th. However, that isn’t the end of live performances for the year; he’ll make three more Farm Tour stops in September, as well as an October appearance at the Country Calling Festival.
